NARROW MARGIN RELEASE PARTY: BUCHANAN RIDES ALONE

Narrow Margin, a quarterly magazine dedicated to neglected corners of cinema, is proud to present with The Beacon for our fourth issue, The Western: B to Z, a screening of Budd Boetticher's BUCHANAN RIDES ALONE. The issue contains new and translated writing honoring, examining and reckoning with the genre from its inception through the heyday of the B western to its dogged holdouts after the collapse of the studio system. Issues will be available to purchase at the show.

The third film in Budd Boetticher's Ranown cycle, BUCHANAN RIDES ALONE follows Tom Buchanan (Randolph Scott), a drifter defending the life of a Mexican man who's charged for the murder of Roy Agry, whose family rules the town.
